DC Robertson Attorneys Inc. is a South African law firm providing practical, sound and cost-effective legal solutions to the construction, engineering and mining industry.
The firm was founded in 2020 by Dirk Robertson, an attorney with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and adjudication.
Dirk advises on all aspects relating to the life cycle of construction and engineering projects – from project inception, throughout execution, to close-out. Projects include, amongst others, mining, process plants, renewable energy, technology development, government infrastructure and residential developments based on standard forms of contract such as the NEC, FIDIC, GCC and JBCC contracts as well as bespoke forms of contract.
Dirk is an attorney registered at the Legal Practice Council and has the right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa. He is also registered as a professional engineer at the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). In addition to his engineering and law degrees, Dirk also has a Master of Science degree in project management. Dirk is a member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering.
